Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to this public website (the "Website"), operated by Sommet Global ("Sommet Global", "we", "us"). It describes the personal data we collect from visitors who browse our pages, contact us, or request a demo or a quote.

This policy does not cover personal data processed inside the Sommet360 application. Data held in the application is processed on the instructions of the customer organisation that licenses it, under a separate data processing agreement, and the privacy notice issued by that organisation applies to its personnel. If you are an application user with a question about your data, please contact your own organisation.

We process Website data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Information We Collect

We only collect data you provide on this Website, or that your browser sends us:

  • Enquiry, demo and quote form data — name, business email address, company name, country, telephone number if provided, approximate headcount, and the content of your message.
  • Newsletter and marketing sign-up data — email address and subscription preferences.
  • Technical data — IP address (shortened where feasible), browser and device type, operating system, language settings and referring page.
  • Usage data — pages viewed, navigation paths, clicks on key elements and time on page, collected in aggregated form.

We do not ask for and do not want special categories of personal data through this Website. Please do not include sensitive information in a contact form message.

How We Use Website Data

We use the data described above for the following purposes and legal bases:

  • Responding to your enquiry, demo or quote request — pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
  • Operating and securing the Website — legitimate interest in delivering pages reliably and preventing abuse, spam and fraudulent submissions.
  • Measuring and improving the Website — legitimate interest, using aggregated statistics about how pages perform.
  • Sending marketing communications about Sommet360 — your consent, or legitimate interest where you are an existing business contact.

We do not use Website data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects for you.

5

Cookies

This Website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies support routing, security and load balancing and are set on the basis of our legitimate interest. Functional and analytics cookies are used only where permitted by applicable law and, where required, on the basis of your consent.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Website from working. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles and we do not sell personal data.

6

Analytics

We use privacy-conscious analytics to understand how this Website is used — for example which pages are visited, how visitors navigate between them, and where errors occur. Analytics data is aggregated and, where feasible, pseudonymised or truncated (including by shortening IP addresses) before analysis. It is not used to identify individual visitors.

7

Marketing Communications

We may send commercial communications about Sommet360 to business contacts who have requested information through this Website, subscribed, or with whom we have an existing business relationship. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and withdrawing consent is free of charge and takes effect without undue delay.

8

Data Sharing

We disclose Website data only as follows:

  • Service providers — website hosting, form handling, email delivery and analytics providers acting on our documented instructions under written agreements.
  • Sommet Global personnel and advisers — sales, marketing and legal personnel with a need to know in order to respond to your enquiry.
  • Authorities — where disclosure is required by law, regulation or court order, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

9

International Transfers

Some of our Website hosting, email and analytics providers may process data outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on an adequacy decision, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (with the Swiss addendum where applicable), or another lawful transfer mechanism, complemented by safeguards such as encryption in transit and access restrictions.

10

Security Measures

The Website is served over encrypted connections, and access to submitted enquiry data is restricted to authorised personnel through role-based access control. We apply least-privilege administration, keep our hosting and dependencies patched, and bind personnel by confidentiality obligations.

No website can be guaranteed absolutely secure. If a personal data breach affecting Website data is likely to result in a risk to individuals, we notify the competent supervisory authority and, where required, affected individuals without undue delay.

11

Data Retention

Enquiry, demo and quote request data is generally retained for up to 24 months after our last interaction with you, unless a commercial relationship begins, in which case contractual and accounting records are kept for the statutory periods applicable in Switzerland. Marketing subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record so that we do not contact you again. Aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely because it no longer identifies you.

12

Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you from this Website, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability; you may object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing; and you may withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. If your request concerns data held inside the Sommet360 application rather than this Website, we will direct you to the organisation that controls that data. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or with your local supervisory authority in the EEA.

13

We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law and may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity.
